I have spent 30 years working in television in various genres and capacities from live sports, hard news, reality, talk and even hidden camera. I am an Emmy-nominated, Writers Guild of America award-winning TV writer/producer best known for my work on shows like New Girl, BoJack Horseman, black-ish, and Goosebumps. I have the distinct honor of having worked with both Franklin & Bash. I am also the author of the 2006 non-fiction humor book Making Friends with Black People where I confidently predicted that America was years away from having a Black president.
I love running my mouth. I’m a frequent guest on the long-running nonsense podcast Jordan, Jesse, Go!
I’ve been a youth basketball coach for about ten years and am in the process of getting my USA Basketball coaching license and forming a non-profit to help grow the game at the middle school level.
I live in Los Angeles with my wife, two teenage children and my cat Pollie.
